Group Project- PowerPoint Presentation of Lifestyle Diseases
Each member of group must participate in the following ways
1) Research
2) Create PowerPoint
3) Presentation to class
PowerPoint will be graded on the rubric on back of sheet. Please include a source sheet on last page of PowerPoint.
PowerPoint Presentation Outline/Guidelines
Each presentation is to be made using the following guidelines:
Introduce yourself and your partners
Name and define your topic (define in your own words)
How would someone know if they suffer from this? (Signs and symptoms)
Treatments – if any If no treatment, tell how the person manages their illness/disease on a daily basis with medication, diet, exercise, etc.
3 WOWs!
Interesting facts that you learned (whether they are statistics or simply pieces of information you thought was interesting and want to share with the class)
Be prepared to give answers bases on your presentation
Each presentation is approximately 5 minutes in length. Notecards are allowed but probably not necessary, as you will have your powerpoint with you as a reference.
